Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services including cleanings and patient education
• Deliver care in efficient 30-minute appointment blocks
• Collaborate with a dental assistant for smooth patient flow
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and infection control standards
• Build rapport with patients and support their oral health goals
• Adapt to a fast-paced backfill assignment while maintaining excellent quality of care

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Clinical experience as a dental hygienist
• Ability to work efficiently with 30-minute appointment slots
• Strong patient communication skills
• Comfortable working with an assistant and following practice protocols

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Understanding of sterilization and infection control protocols
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient comfort and education
• Time management and efficiency for a fast-paced schedule
• Familiarity with dental charting software and recordkeeping
