Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional dental hygiene care, including cleanings and preventive treatments
• Assess patients' oral health and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Capture high-quality dental x-rays to support accurate diagnosis
• Empower patients with personalized oral hygiene education
• Assist the dentist chairside, ensuring a comfortable experience for every patient
• Uphold rigorous infection control standards to protect patient safety

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication skills to connect with patients and team members
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and per diem assignments

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapy techniques
• Skilled in capturing and interpreting dental radiographs
• Strong patient education and chairside manner
• Detail-oriented with thorough documentation practices
• Knowledgeable in infection control protocols and OSHA standards
