Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive dental care, including cleanings and scaling, to patients of all ages
• Assess patients' oral health and communicate findings to the dentist
• Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and nutritional practices for lifelong oral wellness
• Take and process dental X-rays with precision and care
• Maintain a spotless, sterile environment by following infection control protocols
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver a seamless, comfortable patient experience

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR certification
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate chairside manner
• Ability to work efficiently and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in a dental practice is a plus, but new grads are welcome to apply

Education

• Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Current Virginia Dental Hygienist licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep understanding of dental hygiene procedures, instruments, and best practices
• Proficiency with dental software and digital imaging technology
• Strong patient education and counseling abilities
• Keen attention to detail and unwavering commitment to infection control
