Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist dental hygienists during patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Update and maintain patient dental records with accuracy
• Provide compassionate support to patients before, during, and after treatment
• Expose and process dental radiographs as directed
• Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with supplies

Qualifications

• State licensure as a Dental Hygienist Assistant or ability to obtain upon hire
• Previous experience in a dental office setting is a plus
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Comfortable working with dental software and digital records

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Skill in instrument sterilization and infection control protocols
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental environment
• Attention to detail for accurate record keeping
• Teamwork and collaboration skills
