Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during procedures to ensure smooth, positive visits
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments with rigorous safety standards
• Take and process dental X-rays with care and precision
• Provide compassionate chairside support to children and their families
• Educate young patients and parents on proper oral hygiene habits
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with appointments

Qualifications

• Previous dental assisting experience or certification (CDA/RDA) preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Radiography/X-ray certification as required by Wisconsin state regulations
• Friendly, patient approach when working with children
• Willingness to work evening hours

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization protocols
• Strong communication skills for interacting with children and parents
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Empathy, patience, and a positive, encouraging attitude
• Teamwork and adaptability to support a busy pediatric practice
