Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during a variety of procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for our young patients
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
• Take and develop dental X-rays with care and precision
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene and post-visit care
• Manage patient records and schedule follow-up appointments, keeping our office running efficiently

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or willing to obtain certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience working with children in a dental setting preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, caring demeanor

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures and instrumentation
• Proficiency in taking dental X-rays
• Strong sterilization and infection control practices
• Ability to work with pediatric patients and manage their comfort
• Team player with strong organizational skills
