Shift Type: Day shift, typically Monday-Friday (potential weekend rotations)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Help patients regain independence and improve daily living skills through personalized therapy
- Collaborate with occupational therapists and interdisciplinary teams to develop effective treatment plans
- Document patient progress and adjust interventions to ensure optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
- Contribute to a positive, supportive environment in a skilled nursing setting
Qualifications
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Ohio
- Associate degree from an accredited COTA program
- CPR certification (BLS) preferred
- New graduates are welcome to apply; we provide mentorship and support
Education
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical skills in occupational therapy interventions for geriatric populations
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced skilled nursing environment
