Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform accurate and complete assessments of patients
Coordinate and ensure completion of interdisciplinary screenings and assessments
Assess and reassess pain, and develop effective pain management plans
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and follow-up instructions
Prepare and administer medications, and manage medication supplies
Maintain knowledge of cardiac monitoring systems, adenosine pumps, and cardiac stress protocols

Qualifications

Current IL RN License required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a preference for Critical Care or Cardiac Care experience
Strong computer skills, with the ability to navigate EMR programs

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
