Shift Type: Flexible per diem shifts, 8 hours per day, days vary based on availability

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team promptly
- Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
- Assist with meals and hydration, monitoring intake and dietary needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
- Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
- Support residents' emotional well-being by offering companionship and a listening ear
Qualifications
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Connecticut
- Current BLS/CPR certification is preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow care plans
- Physical ability to assist with patient transfers and mobility
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accurate documentation
- Understanding of basic patient care principles
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing resident needs
- Teamwork and collaboration with nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Empathy and patience when supporting residents and families
