Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care in an acute care setting
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility
Monitor and document patient vital signs and report changes promptly to nursing staff
Support nursing team with timely, accurate charting and handoffs
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Collaborate respectfully with interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient outcomes
Contribute to a positive patient experience through clear communication and empathy

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Ability to work 12.5-hour acute care shifts (schedule to be confirmed)
Comfortable working in an acute care/hospital environment
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Strong communication and teamwork skills; dependable and patient-focused
Must meet facility onboarding requirements (background checks, immunizations, etc.)

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of acute patient care and ADL assistance
Vital signs monitoring and basic clinical observation
Basic charting and clinical documentation skills
Infection control and safety best practices
Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
Time management and the ability to prioritize under busy conditions
