Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered occupational therapy interventions as a COTA to help clients reach meaningful daily-living goals
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and execute individualized treatment plans
• Document client progress and outcomes clearly and promptly to support continuity of care
• Educate patients and their families on strategies, adaptive equipment, and home programs to maximize independence
• Adapt therapeutic activities to match each patient’s abilities and goals while maintaining safety and dignity

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) — required
• Availability to work the full contract period: start 2026-04-06 through 2026-06-12
• Comfortable working Monday through Friday daytime schedule
• Professional communication skills and a team-first mindset

Education

• Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program (Associate degree or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with therapeutic techniques for activities of daily living
• Skilled in patient assessment, documentation, and progress tracking
• Ability to modify interventions based on patient response and goals
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient and family education
• Team collaboration and clear clinical communication
