Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility to preserve dignity
• Monitor and report resident condition changes to the nursing team
• Document care accurately and timely in resident charts
• Support restorative and recreational activities to promote quality of life
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification - required
• T-CNA classification noted as relevant for this role
• Comfort and experience working 12-hour night shifts or willingness to train into nights
• Ability to work a travel contract assignment and adapt to a new facility quickly
• Strong communication skills and a team-centered attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CNA certification in good standing

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic nursing care and assisting with ADLs
• Comfortable taking and recording vital signs and resident observations
• Familiarity with charting and documentation best practices
• Good time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
