Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered direct care including assistance with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility
• Take and document vital signs, report changes in condition promptly to nursing staff
• Follow Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and complete the Trinity Skills Checklist as required
• Adhere to infection control protocols and complete required health screenings and immunizations
• Support resident safety through proper transfer techniques and fall prevention measures
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team communications to support continuity of care
• Contribute to a positive living environment by engaging residents in daily activities and encouraging independence

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Ability to pass license/certificate verification and Trinity-specific competency testing
• Willingness to complete required health screenings: 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon), MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 and Influenza vaccines, and physical/health statement
• Successful completion of Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen and background checks
• Flexible availability to work per diem pool shifts and reliable transportation
• Compassionate bedside manner, strong communication skills, and teamwork orientation

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA program
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and elder care best practices
• Basic vital signs monitoring and documentation skills
• Infection control, safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Ability to follow care plans, checklists, and competency testing requirements
• Good observational skills to report clinical changes accurately
• Team collaboration, time management, and respectful communication with residents and families
