Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Not specified days, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care while maintaining dignity and respect
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Support safe and clean environments by following facility protocols
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families to enhance quality of life

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
Ability to meet state CNA requirements and maintain active certification
Comfortable providing hands-on patient care and working as part of a team
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-first attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care procedures and infection control practices
Skill in measuring and recording vital signs accurately
Ability to assist with mobility and safe transfer techniques
Competence in clear, concise documentation and reporting
Customer service mindset when interacting with residents and families
