Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate direct care to patients during the night shift
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care given
- Support a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients
- Collaborate with nurses and care team members to deliver coordinated care
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
- Ability to work 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM shifts and accept per diem assignments
- Comfortable with night shift responsibilities and working independently
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Current basic life support (BLS) preferred or willingness to obtain
Education
- CNA certification (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with activities of daily living and basic patient care
- Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling techniques
- Basic documentation skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse patients
- Ability to follow care plans and report changes to nursing staff
