Location: Gettysburg, PA
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Nights, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Per Diem; schedule varies)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
- Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient chart
- Assist with safe transfers and use of mobility aids to reduce fall risk
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
- Active BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfort working night shifts and providing hands-on patient care
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Background check and any facility-specific health screenings as required
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic nursing and patient care techniques
- Vital signs measurement and documentation
- Safe patient handling and transfer procedures
- Infection prevention and standard precautions
- Effective communication with patients, families, and team members
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
