Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and attentive care to residents in their daily activities
• Assist with mobility, transferring, and positioning of patients
• Take and accurately record vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature
• Support patients with personal hygiene, bathing, and dressing
• Communicate effectively with nurses and the care team about patient changes
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification in Connecticut
• Current BLS CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
• A genuine passion for caring for others
• Ability to lift and move patients safely
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care procedures and safety protocols
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude
• Attention to detail and time management abilities
