Shift Type: Flexible 8-hour shifts, day/evening/night, as needed
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals
- Take and record vital signs, and report any changes in condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, repositioning, and transfers to ensure safety and comfort
- Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in Connecticut
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus, but new grads are welcome
- Ability to work flexible per diem shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed
- Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care principles and infection control practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents with mobility
- Attention to detail when documenting care
- Empathy and interpersonal skills
