Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to residents, assisting with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health or behavior to the nursing team
• Help with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to keep residents safe and comfortable
• Support residents during meals, including feeding and hydration
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment for residents and families
• Document care provided and communicate clearly with the care team

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Connecticut
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents with mobility
• A compassionate, patient, and reliable attitude
• Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is a bonus but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care techniques and safety protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation
• Ability to work effectively as part of a care team
