Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure resident safety and comfort
• Support residents during meals, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
• Maintain a clean, organized environment and follow infection control protocols
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Alabama
• Current BLS/CPR certification (healthcare provider level) preferred
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities is a plus
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend as scheduled
• Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a documented medical/religious exemption

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care principles and safety practices
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks
• Familiarity with medical terminology and equipment
