Location: Florence, AL
Start Date: 08-24-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend required; 7-week assignment from August 24, 2026 to October 5, 2026
Hours per Week: 34
Candidate Pay Rate: $15 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care and support to residents in a skilled nursing setting
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor and record vital signs, and promptly report changes to nursing staff
- Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for residents
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Alabama
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption required
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of resident care procedures and infection control practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with nurses and staff
- Compassion and patience when caring for residents with varying needs
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely
- Attention to detail in documenting care and observing changes in condition
