Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance to residents with daily living activities
• Take and record vital signs, and report any changes to the nursing team
• Support patients with mobility, transfers, and personal hygiene
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Connecticut
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility is preferred
• Strong observational and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care procedures and safety protocols
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to assist with patient mobility and transfers
• Attention to detail in documentation and reporting
• Empathy, patience, and a caring demeanor
