Shift Type: Flexible per diem, 8-hour shifts, various days and times

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and assistance to residents with daily living activities
- Take and record vital signs, and report any changes to the nursing team
- Support patients with mobility, transfers, and personal hygiene
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Connecticut
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility is preferred
- Strong observational and communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of resident care procedures and safety protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to assist with patient mobility and transfers
- Attention to detail in documentation and reporting
- Empathy, patience, and a caring demeanor
