Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care and support to residents in a skilled nursing setting
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
• Document care provided accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote resident well-being

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification in Connecticut
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to pass background check and health requirements
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus, but new grads are welcome

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of resident rights and dignity
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills for documentation
• Commitment to infection control and safety standards
• Compassion and patience in challenging situations
