Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and patient conditions accurately
• Support patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety
• Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and family members about patient needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff
• Respond promptly to patient calls and ensure comfort and dignity at all times

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association preferred
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a positive attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and patient care principles
• Understanding of infection control practices and safety protocols
• Skill in using electronic health records (EHR) for documentation
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills in fast-paced environments
