Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and respectful care to every resident
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs, and communicate changes to the nursing team
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for residents and staff
• Document care provided accurately and timely
• Work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals
• Be a reassuring presence for residents and their families

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is a plus but not required
• A genuine passion for helping others
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and resident needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic resident care techniques
• Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
• Skill in monitoring vital signs and observing patient changes
• Ability to assist with mobility and lifting equipment
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Teamwork and a positive attitude
• Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
