Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
• Assist with meals and feeding, monitoring dietary needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
• Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
• Build meaningful connections with residents and their families, enhancing quality of life

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or home health is a plus, but new grads are welcome to apply
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as required by the facility
• A compassionate, patient, and positive attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of CNA duties including ADLs, vital signs, and patient mobility
• Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, families, and the care team
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
• Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols
• Teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina and dexterity to assist with lifts and transfers
