Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem, 8-hour shifts; day, evening, and night options as needed
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Help with mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team
Qualifications
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Connecticut
- Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred)
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting (preferred)
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
- Ability to work flexible per diem shifts, including some weekends and holidays
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and patient care techniques
- Ability to work effectively as part of a care team
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Physical stamina to assist with patient transfers and prolonged standing
