Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and transfers
• Support patients with meals, hygiene, and personal care
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comforting environment
• Document patient care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Connecticut
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• A genuine passion for helping others
• Ability to adapt quickly to different settings and patient needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care principles
• Skill in taking vital signs and documenting health information
• Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
• Ability to work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
