Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities
• Monitor and record vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Accurately document patient information using CERNER electronic health records
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients and staff
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure high-quality care in a correctional healthcare setting

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California
• CDCR or CERNER experience required
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to pass a background check and meet facility requirements
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a caring, professional attitude

• Patient care and hygiene assistance

• Electronic medical record proficiency (CERNER)
• Infection control and safety protocols
• Adaptability and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
