Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care with dignity and respect
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and eating
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to implement personalized care plans
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comforting environment for patients
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the clinical team

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Indiana
• BLS certification preferred
• Previous acute care or hospital experience is a plus
• Ability to assist with patient mobility and lifting
• A caring, patient, and reliable nature

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient safety and infection control practices
• Effective communication with patients, families, and teammates
• Comfort with vital sign monitoring and documentation
• Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and a compassionate approach
