Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
• Monitor and document vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
• Support rehabilitation goals by encouraging patient participation in therapies
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
• Collaborate with nurses and therapists to deliver compassionate, high-quality care
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Indiana
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable attitude
• Ability to lift, turn, and transfer patients safely
• Acute care or rehabilitation experience is a plus, but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and hygiene practices
• Comfortable with vital signs monitoring and documentation
• Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) is a bonus
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs
• Team player with a positive, can-do mindset
