Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem, 12.5-hour shifts; specific days and times vary based on facility needs
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitor and document vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
- Support rehabilitation goals by encouraging patient participation in therapies
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
- Collaborate with nurses and therapists to deliver compassionate, high-quality care
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Indiana
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable attitude
- Ability to lift, turn, and transfer patients safely
- Acute care or rehabilitation experience is a plus, but not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care and hygiene practices
- Comfortable with vital signs monitoring and documentation
- Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) is a bonus
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs
- Team player with a positive, can-do mindset
