Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and document vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff promptly
Support resident mobility, transfers and safe use of assistive devices
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention practices
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families and the care team
Accurately document care and observations in resident records
Assist with mealtime needs and ensure residents’ dignity and comfort at all times

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (New Mexico or transferable)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Comfortable working evenings and overnight shifts on a per diem basis
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
Infection control and safe patient handling
Clear communication and teamwork in a clinical environment
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
