Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and eating
• Take and record vital signs accurately, reporting any changes to nursing staff
• Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and their families
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
• Document patient care activities and observations precisely
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Texas
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Previous experience in acute care or hospital setting preferred
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for helping others

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient care procedures and safety protocols
• Skilled in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach
• Reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing needs
