Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Santa Maria, California
Start Date: 06-29-2026
End Date: 09-28-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with call coverage from 3:30 PM - 7:00 AM on weekdays and every other weekend from 3:30 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $93 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab and IR procedures with precision and care
- Assist cardiologists during complex cases including STEMIs, pacemakers, and ablations
- Float between Cath Lab, IR, and EP lab to support diverse patient needs
- Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner and Xper systems
- Respond promptly to on-call emergencies within 30 minutes
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of nurses and technologists to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active RCIS or ARRT certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab or IR experience
- EP lab experience preferred
- Travel experience is a plus
- Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of Cath Lab, IR, and EP procedures
- Familiarity with Cerner and Xper systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Comfortable floating between multiple specialty areas
- Quick decision-making during high-acuity cases
