Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures with precision and care
• Monitor hemodynamic status and patient vitals throughout procedures, ensuring safety at all times
• Assist with PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention) and advanced interventions like Rotablator, Impella, and IABP
• Circulate, scrub, or administer sedation as needed in the cath lab environment
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of techs and RNs to deliver exceptional cardiovascular care
• Document procedures accurately using Merge Hemo and Meditech systems
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide life-saving cardiac care whenever needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab
• Active RN licensure OR ARRT certification (Radiologic Technologist)
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification also accepted
• Must have experience with diagnostic catheterization and PCI procedures
• Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring, circulating, and sedation (for RNs) or scrubbing (for Techs)
• Advanced skills in IR, Specials, and vascular procedures are a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and hemodynamics
• Skilled in using GE x-ray equipment and Alaris pumps
• Familiarity with Merge Hemo and Meditech documentation systems
• Understanding of PCI, Rotablator, CSI, Shockwave, Impella, IABP, FFR, and IVUS
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
