Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult ICU patients
• Assess and monitor patients continuously, responding to changes quickly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans
• Document patient status and interventions clearly in the medical record
• Educate patients and families about care plans and condition updates

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) — ICU experience required
• Active RN license (California preferred or required for practice in CA)
• Comfort and experience working 12-hour night shifts in an ICU setting
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on per diem assignments

Education

• Nursing diploma, ADN, or BSN preferred; RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Familiarity with ICU protocols and workflows
• Effective communication and teamwork in fast-paced environments
• Accurate medication administration and clinical documentation
