Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound studies and adult echocardiography including contrast and treadmill stress echo with precision and efficiency
• Execute general ultrasound exams across OB/GYN, small parts, abdominal and neonatal portfolios while maintaining excellent image quality
• Document studies accurately and timely in Epic and manage images via PACS to ensure continuity of care
• Collaborate with radiology and clinical teams to support patient diagnosis and workflow in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Respond to on-call requests promptly during evenings and weekends, delivering dependable patient-centered service
• Assist with precepting and mentoring clinicians and students — share your expertise and help grow the team
• Maintain and troubleshoot GE ultrasound equipment and follow infection control and PPE protocols

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant ultrasound/echo experience (explicit requirement)
• Proven proficiency in vascular ultrasound and echocardiography — Adult Echo, Contrast Echo, and Stress Echocardiogram (Treadmill) are hard-stop requirements (no training provided)
• Experience using Epic for charting and PACS for image management
• Certifications preferred: ARDMS, RVT (ARDMS RVT), RDCS, CCI; current BLS required or preferred as listed
• Comfortable with on-call schedules, weekend coverage and working across adult, pediatric and neonatal patient populations
• Ability to perform procedures such as ultrasound-guided biopsy, fine needle aspiration and paracentesis is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Ultrasound imaging fundamentals: Doppler studies, Color Flow, Duplex, M-Mode
• Echocardiography skills: adult echo, contrast echo, stress (treadmill) echo
• General ultrasound: OB/GYN, breast, small parts, neonatal and pediatric imaging
• Procedural skills: ultrasound-guided biopsy, fine needle aspiration, paracentesis
• Systems & equipment: Epic charting, PACS image management, GE ultrasound systems
• Clinical acumen: isolation precautions/PPE, working across ED, ICU, obstetrics and inpatient settings
• Interpersonal skills: teamwork, precepting, clear communication with multidisciplinary teams
