Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Support dignified, respectful interactions with residents and their families
• Maintain a clean, organized environment and follow infection control protocols
• Document patient observations and care provided accurately in the charting system
• Collaborate with a supportive care team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in West Virginia
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• COVID-19 vaccination or documented religious/medical exemption per facility policy

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathy and patience when caring for patients
• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant procedures and infection control
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Time-management and organizational skills
• Attention to detail in monitoring and reporting patient status
