Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's OT plan of care
• Document patient progress accurately and timely to ensure high-quality care
• Educate patients and their families on techniques to promote independence
• Communicate patient status clearly to the supervising OT
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain)
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Occupational therapy techniques and interventions
• Patient care and compassionate support
• Accurate documentation and record-keeping
• Patient education and communication
