Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the lead dentist in a range of procedures, ensuring patient comfort and care
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe environment
• Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Manage patient records and schedule appointments with precision
• Provide a welcoming and supportive experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or willing to obtain certification
• State X-ray license or the ability to acquire one
• Compassionate and patient-focused mindset
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental practice
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients and staff

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough understanding of dental instruments and procedures
• Proficiency in dental software for appointment scheduling and charting
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Dedication to maintaining strict infection control standards
