Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during procedures and treatments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental X-rays
• Provide exceptional patient care and education on oral hygiene
• Manage patient records and scheduling using Denticon
• Perform routine dental assisting tasks to ensure smooth office operations

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification as required by Maryland state regulations
• Orthodontic certification required
• Experience with Denticon software preferred
• Ability to work the scheduled shift from 12:30 PM to 8:00 PM
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental assisting techniques and orthodontic procedures
• Familiarity with digital radiography and dental software (Denticon)
• Knowledge of sterilization and infection control standards
• Excellent patient communication and customer service skills
