Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists with chairside procedures and patient positioning
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe environment
• Take and develop dental X-rays to support accurate diagnoses
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions
• Manage patient records and appointments using Denticon software
• Support the dental team with inventory and administrative tasks

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or state-specific certification preferred
• Experience in orthodontic assisting (as noted in your skills)
• Proficiency with Denticon software
• Knowledge of dental materials, sterilization techniques, and radiology safety
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-first attitude
