Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist lead dentist during pediatric dental procedures, ensuring a calm and positive experience for young patients
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms to maintain the highest safety standards
• Take and process dental X-rays with precision and care
• Educate children and parents on oral hygiene and post-operative care in an engaging way
• Maintain accurate patient records and update dental charts efficiently
• Provide exceptional patient care, making every visit comfortable and stress-free

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited dental assisting program
• Current CPR certification
• X-ray certification or licensure as required by the state of Wisconsin
• Prior experience in a dental office, preferably with pediatric patients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and patient demeanor

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques
• Proficiency with dental software and electronic health records
• Excellent patient interaction and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
