Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist lead dentist during pediatric dental procedures, ensuring a calm and positive experience for young patients
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms to maintain the highest safety standards
- Take and process dental X-rays with precision and care
- Educate children and parents on oral hygiene and post-operative care in an engaging way
- Maintain accurate patient records and update dental charts efficiently
- Provide exceptional patient care, making every visit comfortable and stress-free
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited dental assisting program
- Current CPR certification
- X-ray certification or licensure as required by the state of Wisconsin
- Prior experience in a dental office, preferably with pediatric patients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and patient demeanor
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques
- Proficiency with dental software and electronic health records
- Excellent patient interaction and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
