Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate speech, language, and swallowing therapy to patients in a skilled nursing facility
• Conduct comprehensive screenings, evaluations, and treatments for communication and swallowing disorders
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans tailored to each patient's needs
• Document therapy services accurately and in compliance with regulatory and facility standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families to ensure the best outcomes
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current California state SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY eligibility
• Strong communication and clinical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program (MS/MA)
