Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy with precision and care
• Take and process dental x-rays to assist in accurate diagnosis
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies
• Document patient care and medical histories in compliance with regulations
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and operatory rooms
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure an exceptional patient experience

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania (required)
• Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills
• Experience in a clinical dental setting is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of dental anatomy, periodontology, and prophylaxis
• Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental radiographs
• Strong understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Computer proficiency with dental practice management software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
