Surgical Tech - OR
Location: Lakewood, Washington

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with on-call rotation: one overnight weekday shift (3:00 PM - 6:30 AM) per week after first month, one 24-hour weekend shift every 6 weeks, 30-minute call response time
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in diverse surgical procedures including ortho, podiatry, urology, general, ENT, plastics, and robotics like DaVinci and Mako
- Circulate in the OR to ensure smooth operations across 15 daily cases in 5 suites
- Respond promptly to on-call needs with a 30-minute turnaround to support the team
- Collaborate with charge nurses and OR techs in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Utilize EPIC for accurate charting and patient care documentation
Qualifications
- Active Washington license required
- BLS certification mandatory, CST preferred
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience with circulating skills
- Ortho experience highly preferred given 65% case volume

Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in EPIC electronic medical records
- Experienced with circulating in multi-specialty OR settings
- Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgeries including DaVinci and Mako systems
- Strong teamwork in high-volume OR with inpatient and outpatient cases
