Location: Loveland, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 24hr shifts (Inpatient and telestroke 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM) (night call 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM), 12-15 total shifts per month

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert neurology care to adult inpatients during 24-hour shifts
Provide telestroke consultations to optimize stroke outcomes
Manage 15 patients per day in a primary stroke center environment
Collaborate with full hospital staffing including stroke team
Cover inpatient services at three UCHealth facilities seamlessly

Qualifications

Board Certified in Neurology
Active Colorado license or IMLC with LOQ
Stroke telemedicine (telestroke) experience
BLS certification obtained before start
Clean malpractice and background check
COVID vaccine

Education

Board Certification in Neurology

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in telestroke and inpatient neurology
Experience with adult critical care patients
Comfortable with Epic EMR
Strong consultative skills in trauma and stroke settings
