Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing function with thoughtful, evidence-based evaluations
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that make measurable differences in patients' lives
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
• Document progress clearly and efficiently to support continuity of care and discharge planning
• Educate patients, families and staff to empower better communication and safer swallowing strategies
• Adapt interventions for varied populations and settings with creativity and clinical judgment

Qualifications

• Active California speech-language pathology license or eligibility to obtain state licensure
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred or in progress
• Clinical experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations preferred
• Strong assessment and treatment planning skills, including dysphagia management experience
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; compassionate patient-centered approach
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent graduate degree)
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and/or state licensure as applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in speech, language, cognition and swallowing evaluation and intervention
• Comfortable using standardized assessments and developing functional goals
• Familiarity with interdisciplinary care models and discharge planning
• Proficient documentation and clinical reasoning to support patient progress
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse needs and cultural backgrounds
