Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 10-hour shifts, variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality general, OBGYN, and vascular ultrasound exams
Conduct procedures including drains and biopsies with precision
Collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging
Maintain equipment and ensure patient safety throughout each scan
Document findings clearly in Fuji EPIC system
Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population

Qualifications

Current RDMS certification (General or OBGYN)
BLS certification required
RVT preferred, RDCS a bonus
Strong experience in general and OBGYN ultrasound
Procedure experience highly valued
Ability to work variable 10-hour shifts and take call

Knowledge & Skills

General, OBGYN, and vascular ultrasound techniques
Philips ultrasound equipment proficiency
Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS systems
Patient-centered communication
Attention to detail in imaging and documentation
Ability to handle 8-10+ scans per day
