Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care with dignity and respect
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the care team
• Support safe patient mobility and transfers following facility protocols
• Document care in a timely and professional manner to maintain continuity
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

• Current and valid CNA certification in California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or required per facility
• Up-to-date TB screening and required immunizations per facility policy
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
• Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and responding to patient needs
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs and observations
• Knowledge of infection control practices and standard precautions
• Ability to follow care plans and report clinical changes promptly
• Good time management and multitasking in a fast-paced setting
• Clear communication with patients and the healthcare team
